In November 2019, Orla Griffin, a former primary school teacher, took over The Nautilus Gym. Having been a member of the gym she could see the potential it had.
“With its large spacious gym, lots of natural light, an on-site car park and the location (very close to Douglas town centre), it’s an appealing gym to be part of.”
Since taking over, Orla has refurbished the whole gym including the changing rooms, showers and toilets. Most recently she has taken over additional spaces in the building and turned them into a beautiful, light, spacious studio where a variety of classes are run together with a relaxing coffee room where members and people attending the gym or classes can unwind after exercising.
The Nautilus Gym provides its members with the greatest value for money compared to its competitors, being the cheapest, no-contract gym on the Isle of Man.
